Annual statistics have been checked against NASS "Track Records" (1965-1995) and against actual reports. Revised statistics are from the Feed Grain Situation and Outlook Yearbook .   1950-60 harvested acres are for grain only, but yield and production is for "for grain" not "all corn". 1998 data are from the January Crop Production Annual Summary.
